Basically, all I do is snag the torrent file, then: btdownloadcurses.py --responsefile <filename>.torrent --max_upload_rate 12 You can limit your upload rate further, but IIRC that may also limit your download speed. One thing to watch out for using a term to do this, I've noticed that if you resize the term window it kills the download and errors out.
