I have a LAN with two machines: one is LE2005 and the other WXP. The XP box is configed to share several of it's drives which the LE2005 box can mount/unmount via SAMBA and LinNeighborhood. However, if the WXP box is shutdown/restarted or crashes, before unmounting the shared volumes the LE2005 box can't remount the shares. Attempting to unmount them is met with the error "<share> does not appear to be an SMB filesystem". Rescanning the WXP machine doesn't allow me to remount even at a new location. The only way I can re-establish the connection is by restarting the LE2005 box and remounting the shared drives. This was not a problem with a W2K predecessor on the same LE2005 box. Any thoughts on how to remount the shared drives without rebooting? TIA Paul
