Hi everyone, I recently bought a UPS and am trying to get the apcupsd software to work. The software in itself works (installed it from RPM), but it insists that it cannot talk to the designated port (3551).
[EMAIL PROTECTED] apcupsd]$ /sbin/apcaccess status localhost 3551 FATAL ERROR in apcaccess.c at line 243 tcp_open: cannot connect to server localhost on port 3551. ERR=Connection refused I double-checked that the apcupsd.conf file is correct, so the NETSERVER is on and the NISPORT is set to 3551. This was all default. How can I check what is up (or down) with this port? It can't be a firewall issue since this is all internal.
