The penguin is the linux symbol, rather than an exclusive Mandr... thing.

2. Mandrake is a plant, It is supposed to scream when uprooted, long
used in witch-craft. The roots are ground into a paste and rubbed onto
the temples 'religious experiences' take place according to a witch I
once knew.
