Thanks for your reply.

It's the thought of all the updates which has made me wonder even more 
if just the first two CDs would be sufficient.

I see that there is also a "mini iso" for a basic installation, 
downloading other things as needed. It may be worth going along that 
road. But I would appreciate some advice on the "mini iso" first, if 
anyone has used it.
