I kinda dropped out of the linux scene a couple years ago (right after Mandrake 9.0/9.1 was released and just recently started nosing around Linux again. While I knew that Mandrake was considering a name change at the time, I came back to find it called Mandriva and multiple product lines. From what I can tell, 10.1 is pretty much equal to LE 2005 (10.2). Any differences are minor enough for me not to notice. Other than 10.1 being a commercial product and LE (10.2) being free of course. On a good note however, I LOVE what I see! Mandriva has made tons of useful and needed updates to their installer, and the OS now runs perfectly on common desktops. I've dual booted it on my laptop with XP and now spend the majority of my time on the Linux side of the house. I keep XP around just for gaming. Either 10.1 or 10.2 will do you, whatever you need to do.
