May I add that I have written to my Mdk backup
partition from my win2k box for years and not had a
problem.

I use expresspcb for proto work (can't get them to port
to linux). I usually load the prog and file from the
server (mdk), save it locally, then backup to the server
at the end of the day.

Was I on the edge again, or is that safe?
