I'd use printerdrake. If you use the Remote Printers tab there is a place to add print server IPs. Get the IP in there and you should see any connected printers added to the list of available ones. I tried to "service cups restart" and that wouldn’t work either - it gave a message that it was waiting 'for the cups daemon to get ready' do I need to reinstall? -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
