On a slightly different note: when I instaled Mandriva (then Mdke 10.1), I
telephoned my ISP when I was setting up dial up access. They advised that
linux was not supported, and if I had problems they couldn't assist.
Fortunately I had no problems!
Here in the States I only found one that didn't say that
When I started using Speakeasy.net I told them I was using Linux their
response ..'Cool what distro'?
(Unfortunately they don't offer DSL service at my present address)
