You can't blame Mandrake for LG using a non-ADAPI-standard address -
that's where the fault lay.

IIRC, they had produced a firmware upgrade for it even before Mandrake
released 9.2 (which was the version). Thedrive could also be revived, so
it wasn't dead 'just sleeping'. It was Mandrake that got all the bad
publicity, though.

Also had the strange monitor effects, but hit control-alt-backspace
immediately and haven't killed any.
