Mikkel <snip> Well, I did it. Mandrive 2005 LE. Installed it. Now all I got is an hour glass going around and around in the middle of the screen. At least until the screen saver kicks in. Then I get a blank screen till I move the mouse or something. Then the hour glass is back going round and round and round. Bummer. Reboot. The graphical boot loader at least came up this time. Wonder if the "Trend" thing in the bios thinking Linux was a virus had anything to do with it? Well, it's turned off now. Hmmm, rebooted all by itself. That's interesting Now the hour glass is back. Can't say I'm terribly impressed so far. At least 8.1 ran right out of the box. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. Perhaps I'll just wipe the hard drive and start over from scratch.
