This is a misconfiguration with postfix. If you're not going to use postfix 
for localised email delivery (not CLIENT, but SERVER) then you can safely 
turn off postfix in the system's running services and not have to worry about 
the error. IF, on the other hand, you're wanting to setup your workstation to 
be a "mail server", then there is quite a bit more that has to be done...

For settings up postix, the best suggestion is from D. Jennings at:
