Hello,

I used proftpd to set up a small ftpserver. Everything works except two things.

I want to give ftpusers a /sbin/nologin as shell. But if i give that to those users they can't login. On FreeBSD with ftpd I needed to add the line "/sbin/nologin" in /etc/shells.
What do I need to do on mandriva linux?

I want to prevent those users also from coming out of there home directory. I don't want them to go "/". On FreeBSD with ftpd I made a file in /etc/ftpchroot with the ftpusers. They mayn't go out there home directory.

What do I need to do on mandriva linux?

Or where can I find it in the documentation of proftpd? My English isn't so good to find that.

With kind regards,

Koen de Wijs
