Webmin is an easy way to configure a shorewall firewall.
Install webmin package, start webmin service, and then
https://localhost:10000
Be sure to select 'shorewall firewall' and not just 'firewall'

Configuring the /etc/shorewall files by hand is also quite easysince they
contain many examples.

The big problem with the Mandriva firewall GUI IMO is the fact that opening a
service opens it to BOTH the local network and the internet at once.
For that reason I never use the Mandriva GUI.
(Although the new interactive firewall in 2006 is quite interesting
