I though clicking on SambaNetwoks or NetworkServices (under devices) I

to much?)
Yes.
and didn't work. Also try right clicking my home directory
looking for a sharing option and nothing.
Is is hard?
No.
do I need to create some kind of Domain or Workgroup for my
boxes to see each other?
No.
If you are on machine2 and want to copy a file from machine1 use:
scp machine1:/path/file /path/file
If you want to recursivly copy an entire directory tree use -r.
See "man scp" for more details.

I think the two computers should see each other before doing this. They
both have internet access trhu mi wireless router. IP1: 192.168.1.101
IP2: 192.168.1.100. Can't ping within them, also tried the virtual
conection from desktop and the are unable to connect.
Shouldn't I share some resources first?
