Ricardo Rodriguez got an infinite number of monkeys to type out:

I think the two computers should see each other before doing this. They both have internet access trhu mi wireless router. IP1: 192.168.1.101 IP2: 192.168.1.100. Can't ping within them, also tried the virtual conection from desktop and the are unable to connect.

Do you by any chance have Shorewall running on either of the two boxes?

I don't think I have shorewall running, and I think I have done some progress.

I can't tell what exactly I did but after running the VirtualNetworkConnection in one computer and TightVNC in the other one I have the 1st one running as server and the second one as a client (kind of a terminal server).

I do have control of 1 computer from anotherone but can't do the file copying. Still haven't been able to share anything and trying the scp command nx:/path/bal zt3:/path/bla, didn't work.

CopyPaste does not work becuase I can drag it to outside the terminal server window.

Yes, Im running KDE and I also tried doing something with the sharing and couldn't make it.

Where to go from here?

I think I'm getting close. I find out a computer needed to run the samba server and the MCC started installation by itself. Hopefully that'll run as samba server to share resources which should be reached from this computer, right?

That will probably allow me to copy-paste files, right?
