I have a laptop that is occasionally connected to an external monitor. My
xorg.conf file will drive either the internal monitor when not connected or
both monitors when the external monitor is attached. From MDK9.2 to 10.2,
I've never had any problems with booting in one or the other configuration.
However with 2006, when I reboot after connecting or disconnecting the
external monitor, the xorg.conf file gets modified as if XFDrake is modifying
it. How can I prevent this from happening?
TIA
Paul
