Assuming your family are not computer geeks then I assume the easiest way to view pictures is with a browser. In that case set your firewall to forward port 80 to your computer and set up a web server. There are a number of applications available to display pictures on a web server. Gallery is nice (I use it) http://gallery.menalto.com/ (Gallery 1 is simpler to set up than Gallery version 2) If you want a really simple way of sharing pictures with your family then open a Flickr account from Yahoo http://www.flickr.com/ Its free. derek -- www.jennings.homelinux.net http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
