I am agree with you for 2005LE and default enabling acpi. But where do i
write "acpi=on" ? Which file? where is it?
My computer has a 256 MB memory and 512 MB swap file. It seems to me that
 i have enough swap area.
In your opinion, in order to execute the clean and correct
hibernate/resume, must the acpi and related deamon started and run on the
computer? Because, I am new for linux especially acpi works.

Best regards.

Tansu
