That sounds like a third system in the linux path to make GW, and programs written for it runable under linux. Very interesting as I will be using linux more than windows as soon as I can get a modem working in linux. I do have a bootable cd for win 98 se that I use for Norton's Ghost and other dos needs. It contains the whole 98 se OS.

If you have anything above win3.1 you don't have dos the installation of
windows wiped it out If you ever reinstall it rename your DOS directory
something else then install WinSux
(why bother)

There is some bootloader voodoo that you can do to install DOS to a
partition other that the first one (aka C:\). If you still have good
DOS install disks you can set aside a partition and install DOS to it.
There are also the options of using a DOS emulator like DOSBox, or an
x86 hardware emulator like Bochs on which you install DOS and it runs
under Linux. I don't know where the rpms are available for these
programs on Mandriva as I am currently using Fedora.
