Try removing the line 'alias eth0 eth1394' from your /etc/modprobe.conf file.

In any case there is no harm in this message. It just means it cannot 
initialise your firewire as a network port. But that's fine since you did not 
want to use it anyway.

As for your other messages; Is anything in your system not working? and have 
you done your updates?
If there is nothing wrong I would not worry too much about a few kernel 
messages on boot (even if repeated 87 times).
