If you are connecting to ADSL through an external single port router such as the Huawei MT882 then you do not need to use the ADSL wizard in Mandriva at all. The MT882 looks to Manrdiva just like an ordinary Ethernet connection. Everything to do with ADSL is handled by the MT882 You should delete the ADSL connection you have defined and just configure your Ethernet port as an ordinary Ethernet using DHCP to obtain an IP address. Then open a browser and enter in the URL line 192.168.1.1 to configure the router. All you should need is your user name and password from your ISP as well as the correct VPI/VCI number (again consult your ISP) There is a manual here http://my.opera.com/boxopen/homes/blog/SmartAX_MT882_V200R002C01B021_User_Manual.pdf Ignore the section in the manual about compiling USB drivers. Mandriva has them already, and in any case you are connecting via Ethernet.
