I had posted this message sometime back but seems it didnt reach the group.Plz dont mind if this message is been posted before.
I am using Dataone adsl internet(india) I have mandriva06 and want to access internet on it.I use Huawei MT882 modem.10/100 etherner card. I tried to to configure adsl through controlc centre.The wizard configures and dials the connection,i am able to use it but i cannot find it again(like kppp) hence i have to do those steps again and again.Morever,after i configured adsl,Mandriva startup halts while initialising ppp0,after 10-15 min it gives following error-'pap/chap authentication failure"(or something like that) So, 1.My lan card is well detected,wizard is able to dial but i cant find it again. 2.My startup is halted for 10-15 min while initializing ppp0. Please guide about it.
