If it shows in USB view as /mnt/TRAVELDRIVE, then it has already been mounted 
by hal. The 'managed' option you see in fstab means that line was 
automatically added by hal and will be removed when you unmount it.

You will see the drive displayed as an icon in 'Devices' on your desktop.

If you can read but cannot write to it, then you probably have too high a 
security level. At security level 'High' or higher FAT32 partitions are 
mounted as read only. If you do not want to reduce the security level then 
use draksec to to tune the security level and disable the 'user mask' option

(MCC>Security>SecurityLevel>System Options)
(mcc should be set to 'advanced mode)

You must remember to unmount the drive before disconnecting it or else 
anything you copied to it will be lost. Unmount with a rightclick on the icon 
in 'Devices'
