I don't have your router/modem, but I would try using your browser and
the url of http://whatever_IP_is_default_for_the_modem/router and seeing
if it's set up has settings to dynamically assign IPs or assign IPs to
certain MAC addresses. heck, if you know have it working to suit you
using static IPs, then why bother messing? whatever works for you is the
right way to do it, imho.
