Rosemary,
When you run the spellchecker, do you get a Language box at the bottom
of the window with a drop-down menu? If so, what does the menu contain?
It originally has en-us and i added the nz one, but still doesn't work.
Richard is currently having problems with the Thunderbird spellchecker
and it's being discussed on the expert list - I tried 1.5, and could
only get it to spell in US English - the GB English dictionary extension
kept saying it was installing, but it didn't!
Glad it is not just me then!
We don't have a fix yet - my personal solution was to revert to
Thunderbird 1.0.6 because 1.5 didn't actually have any new or improved
features that I needed and at least 1.0.6 speaks my language!
I'll do the same then. Thanks

The difference between art and science is that science is what we
understand well enough to explain to a computer. Art is everything else.
