sounds more like a problem initializing your device. Sometimes removing and re-inserting the device helps. Inserting the device should automagically create a "removable" entry in /etc/fstab and thus the icon in devices. If you can see /mnt/removable and read it's contents in konq, it apparently is getting mounted and ergo should be in the devices folder. You can manually unmount it with "umount /mnt/removable" in an xterm or konsole before removing it as a quick solution. BTW When the device is removed is removed (and unmounted) the /mnt/removable entry should have gone too. Refresh the konq window to be sure. -- Good luck, HarM ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
