Thanks I have ditched it temporarily and trying to get a decent pclinuxos
CD as originally was trying to install that, but my burn was.

Now that i think of it, with the funky way mandriva is buit, mandriva may not support your network card. as weird as it sounds, it may be true. Eventhough mandriva may support the device, it may not be communicating wiht it properly (that has happened with me before). I would recommend downloading a more updated linux driver for your NIC's so that it will work proper
