Copy the file to a folder where you want to install it, then from a shell, cd 
to the location and do a "./GoogleEarthLinux.bin" and the archive will be 
extracted, checked and installed.

Then you can either click on the created script icon googleearth or type that 
from a shell and it will start the program.

I love this program since upgrading my 3d graphics card! :)
