Alas... After updating the libraries digikam starts, but so far no fun. I tried the A520 PTP mode and also A60 PTP mode. The problem may be somewhere else though. This is what I find in syslog: Aug 10 13:04:29 nwyfre kernel: usb 5-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 16 Aug 10 13:04:29 nwyfre kernel: usb 5-4: device descriptor read/all, error -71 Aug 10 13:04:29 nwyfre kernel: usb 5-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 17 And beyond that it is a puzzle. Why would the kernel address two devices? (Or do I interpret this wrongly?) Paul ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
