Never tried that before - it's very nice for a quick glance at the
first page. On my screen, though, the text for most everything is not
readable. Any way to make it bigger so I could read it [other than a
huge 4096 display :-))]? Perhaps if it were possible to see the
preview without the tips it might be bigger.

I noticed right away that I could not tell much by just being able to
see only the first page, even on those where I could make out a tiny
bit of the words. It would be sooooooo nice to be able to scroll
through - if only that window could be made to stick so one could
manipulate things there. I still long for something like GQview for
text. :-)) Very nice that it does a variety of formats though...

Sometimes stand-alone apps are better than trying to get a browser to
do everything...

Yes it did, and I will use it for some previews even though it is not
