I for one am going back to 2006, I can not get an install to go past ramdisk
with the DVD disk and the CD 6pack installs ok but there is a real nasty hash
on the screen when I use konqueror or FireFox web browsers. This system has
an NVidia FX card with 256 M on card memory and I have an Acer 19" LCD . No
problems with 2006 and now I can't get a configuration that works with 2007
on this comp. My other computer uses the same monitor but has a radeon 9550
vid card and sempron processor and it shows none of the nasty hash on the
monitor. Strange, any one have a idea. Oh the DVD version does not work on
either machine. I end up with fatal error on initialization.
