Well, I am glad I am not the only one that is getting the seg fault/'memory errors. If it's any help I have went to the vendors web page of my pc's and have downloaded their diagnostics software and ran it on all my 3 pc's . Not a problem anywhere. Including RAM
I downloaded the dvd iso checked the md5sum and same thing with me. About 27 min left in the install, same message as Jimmy. I have downloaded the DVD iso a second time thinking that in their infinite wisdom the Mandriva Team would have replaced the obvious beta software with a thoroughly tested and Final Release.... but I was mistaken as the same thing happened. I tried to address this with bugzilla and heard back nothing. I tried to email Mandriva but have heard back nothing. I have paid my Silver Dues and have gotten a thank you. So at least they take your money. It seems that we take our chances.
