I had some issues with the DVD (x86_64version) and found no obvious reason why it's konking out the way it does. The CD versions gave no trouble whatsoever, so maybe try those. Anyway the torrents for the CD's have a faster dload via torrent by a factor 4-5, compared to the DVD iso. As for the laptops: on those I run Mandy-one, install it and add the needed repositories to make it a full distro install, either over the net or adding the CD's. As for the testing: We are the testers! If you want a stable, fully tested and bug free (if such a thing exists) release, hold your breath and wait for the "official" release ........... This is "community" release remember and from what I've seen a lot stabler and less buggier than 2006. -- Good luck, HarM ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
