Hi Y'all,
A bit of a rant this one I suppose.....
I paid for a years subscription to mdvonline, back in July this year. With the
release of 2007, It now wont connect, or do something! It tells me that it
has successfully uploaded my settings etc, but when it goes to check updates,
tells me there is a connection problem.
I emailed customer support, no reply. I emailed here and had a dig at them,
and got a supply from a young lady called Sophie, who is technically a member
of the support team or something. Anyway, a few emails exchanged, she reset
my account (it now says I have no hosts registered on the online website)...
I still have outstanding support issues (ie, it still hasnt been fixed!), and
suddenly no emails.....
I paid eur19.90 for this service, and cant even launch a PayPal dispute, as
apparently this type of transaction isnt covered by them!!
Looks like I'm uk£14 out of pocket for a service that I cant use nowadays.....
That's the last time Mandrakesoft get their hands on any of my money! I was
thinking of joining the club, or even purchasing a boxed set in the near
future.... that has blown that idea right out of the water now! :-)

yah dude, mandriva 2007 aint all that good. even there website has problems. dontcha hate it when they release linux distros with so many bugs? its like they never made any changes to the os during beta
