With only ffox running one window I get these from 'top'
virt 63156 %mem 11
I don't understand this, is virt the swap and %mem ram? ram is 384 so
11% is around 40MB.
I often run ffox all day with 2 or 3 tabs open and I don't seem to
have had any problem. My old pc had IE6 XP Pro and regularly crashed
if left on for any length of time.
This PC is P3 700MHz 384 RAM so I'm always trying to make sure it's
running well and with linux everything seems faster.

ps I tried to paste the 'top' screen but it keeps refreshing so I
can't grab it??
