If there's nothing in there... You can look in the Makefile for something resembling 'uninstall', or do a 'locate' (after doing an 'updatedb' as root) and see where it installed the various files, then delete them by hand. Not always fun, depending on the complexity of the install, sometimes it's just a binary in /usr/local/bin, sometimes it's putting stuff in /usr/local/lib that you may have to hunt down.
