The best Mexican, Black, Polish, etc. jokes I have ever heard were told by
Mexicans, Blacks, Polish, etc. We are who we are and we as ethnic groups know
ourselves and our foibles and limitations best. We should not shy from
kidding about them. True discrimination is in the patronizing sneer, the
condescending commentary, discriminating hiring, judicial, and educational
policies and practices of our particular society. Such policies need to be
quashed vigorously. Hate and intolerance is obvious by their fruits. Re:

I once read an article from a commentator about how we have ceased to laugh at
ourselves. I am forced to agree with his sentiments. Genetically
indistinguishable, we are all the same. Just with differing skin, speech, and
manners that can be truly humorous to others.
I miss my UPS driver. He told the funniest cracker jokes I have had the
pleasure to hear. Most I still remember. He was black and I am white.
