looks like all the versions are the same. but using Konqueror I cannot see
the
Chinese characters. they are all just small square boxes.
also, no audio, no error messages.nothing. after inputting
username/password,
the box changes to it's usual "please wait" page, then after a about 30
seconds it vanishes.
I would very much like to get this (and one more problem) working.
If I can get them fixed, I can switch to Linux and dump XP except for
gaming
Unless anyone know how to get World of Warcraft working in Linux? then I
can
dump XP permanently.
The other problem I'll start another thread for later.
Anybody else out there with some ideas???
Do I need to post in expert list as well? or do the experts hang out on
the
newbie list too?

Can you start konqueror from a console, repeat the whole procedure and tell
us if there is an error is?
Do you have the win32-codecs package installed?
Can you go to say www.apple.com/trailers and get the videos from that site
working?
