After searching the archive I saw one answer that might solve my problem.
But to be on the safe side. I have computer A and B. Computer A is running
Redhat 7.1+. On computer A I have edited the XAccess, and xdm-config files
to allow remote connections. I have also edited the hosts file so it knows
about the computers trying to connect (something else that is annoying but I
can live with). Then on computer B I run startx with -query computer A.
This use to work with Redhat 7.1, but on 7.1+ all I get is the black/white
screen. No logon window or anything. Also Computer B has not changed, only
computer A. After reading the Archives it looks like I might have to do an
xhost someplace? Is this correct? Or has something else changed, that I
need to edit?
