This looks like a console bug. Are you using matroxfb or vesafb? If you are
using vesafb, seriously consider matroxfb instead (it's actually more
stable, and definitely faster. I think the main fbdev developer uses an MGA
card (g400, IIRC))
BTW, do you have DRI working on that G200? The reason I ask is that I just
got 2 K6 boxen which have AGP G200s, and I was hoping for HW-accel OpenGL
(Multiplayer HGII!!! and of course, Tuxracer ;-)

Subject: [Newbie]display messed up after closing X (kde)
Hi,
I ran sndconfig in kde
when I exited kde (and XFree), the "Introduction"
screen of sndconfig remained on a blue background.
The bash prompt simply overwrote part of that screen
I had to logout completely and login again to get my
normal console screen.
Any idea of what is happening?
Config is RH 7.1 XFree 4.0.3 on 2.4.2-2
on MB ASUS P5A AMD K6-2 350 Matrox Millenium G200 8MB
Ram 128
Thanks
Lionel
