I hope, I�m right here with my question: I want to install XFree86 on my brothers box. He�ll use GNU/Debian i386 (with AMD K6/2 and 128MB, VIA Apollo SCSI-Controller, Terratec EWX64 XL Soundcard, TV-Card, 3 SCSI-HDD�s, SCSI-Writer, IDE-HDD, as far as I can remember.) My question: He�s installed a ATI 3D XPert98 with RagePro Turbo Chipset and 8MB VRAM. is thie Chipset supported 2D _accelerated_ or unaccelerated? I can�t get sufficient answer by reading status page and exploring dejanews. There were both oppinions.
