This is the first time that I have ever tried to
run Linux and I am lost. First of all, I have the infamous ATI Radeon VE
video card which doesn't seem to work with Red Hat Linux 7.1. I read that
I need to upgrade my Xfree86 stuff to version 4.1.0. How do I go about
doing that? Or, Where can I find out how to do that? Right now my X
won't load because of the video card. It tells me that a monitor can't be
found. Can I download the files I need in Windows? I am currently
running Windows ME on a dual boot system (obviously). Thanks!
