I have an old IBM PS/2 M57 slc scsi system with an XGA card

and a 9 gig hard drive. I use the IBM Reference disk to boot the Suse 7
mcaboot

disk. Then I boot /dev/sda3 . I'm still looking for a small 50pin scsi
drive,

that's another problem -

I'm trying to figure out how to get X going. When I first installed the

system it asks If I have a colour or monochrome display. I have a IBM Colour
8515

display so after 6 hours of installing I started the xf86config program to
set

the card up. X doesn't work . I have colour I can see it when it boots up

some of the text is green. How can I use the boot disk driver for colour? on
X

??????????????? Or can someone show me a link that lists a xf86config text
file

who has the same system that I have, or close to it, so I can use vim to
edit my

xga card :)

Thanks Dave
