I have tried to add xwinclip to my environment copying the executable under /usr/X11R6/bin and adding the command
start /B xwinclip.exe
immediately after start XWin in my startxwin.bat.
Before this modification I was able to copy and paste between different xterm windows.
Now I am not able anymore to select text from xterm windows, in fact when I try to do so the following events happen:
1 I position the mouse at the beginning of the text
2 I drag with the mouse with the left button pressed until the end of the text and the text is selected correctly (reverse video)
3 when I release the mouse button the selection is lost: the text returns normal (no reverse) and the copy buffer is empty. Paste is not possible neither internally nor towards windows programs.
Can anybody help me in understanding and if possible fixing this problem?
