Hello. Would anybody please tell me what is "backing-store" and "save-unders". I have already come accross these terms some times when reading documentation regarding X Window applications, but none of them explain exactly those terms mean.
Currently both these options are turned off in my X Window configuration. Is this good or should I have them on for any reason?
