Hi,

We got a small LAN:

3 boxes running Win2000+Cygwin+Xfree (for development)
2 boxes running FreeBSD 4.4 + Xfree (for webserver and file server)
1 Hub
1 Alcatel ADSL router + NAT + firewall for internet connection

All this works pretty good.

On the LAN we use the windows boxes with cygwin/xfree to display output of the FreeBSD Xclients on our windows screens. We do this with xhost and telnet. This works great too.

BUT......

I would like to be able to do this on the road via the internet. My question is:

Is this possible with a firewall, and does anyone know which ports on the firewall need to be opened up?

Thanks!

Roel.
