Hi folks,
I have just installed without apparently any problem the next tarballs
XFree86-4.1.0_4.tgz (this one with pkg_add command), Xquartz.tgz and
XDarwin1.0a3.tgz (in order indicated) and when I execute startx command
I get next error message:

giving up.
xinit: Connection refused (errno 61): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
and my .xinitrc file is
/usr/X11R6/bin/xterm &
/usr/X11R6/bin/twm
When I log in console mode the only thing I got was run xdm and the
login window appears, understands my username and password but enter in
a loop.
Could anyone help me?
