I have a solution, but it works only with the Darwin-ppc distribution
under Mac OS X.

Open XDarwin, go to the "XDarwin" menu, item "preferences...".

At the bottom of the window in the "keymapping" frame, "load from
file" click on the "pick" button, then you just have to choose your
keyboard.

While this works under Mac OS X I'd like to know how it works under
NetBSD or OpenBSD, I've got older Macs ;)
