Hello all,
I'm really sorry if this has been covered before. I tried to do as much digging as I possibly could before seeking help. Basically I have a Creative Voodoo Banshee (PCI 16Mb) and whatever I do in the configuration files, I just can't XFree86 working. I select "Generic VGA" or I select "Voodoo Banshee", but neither of them render the screen correctly. The application "SuperProbe" doesn't even detect my card. I know the resolutions, including refresh rates are correct because when I place a 2Mb S3 Virge in, everything is hunky-dory. I am running a default Slackware 8 install (kernel: 2.4.5), and the latest (I think) version of XFree86. So if anyone could possibly shed some light on the problem for me, I would be most grateful. Thanks for your time, tom _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
